Couldn't ask for a more patient and polite person to be taking care of my dog while I am at work. Maureen has been taking care of my dog for a couple months now, and she has far exceeded my expectations. Always accommodating to my ever changing lifestyle. And most importantly puts my dog first, making sure she is always fed and walked. Making my days at work stress free. Words aren't enough to express mine and Kono's gratitude for what she does.

            It was our first time going to Maureen for taking care of our dog, we left our dog for just under a week. While we were on vacation we received pictures of our dog and group pictures of our dog with the other 2 that were there. It was great to know our dog was well taken care of and walked a lot daily. We will definitely be going back for future vacations because there is no worries or stress knowing how great Maureen is with dogs. I highly recommend Maureen, she is well organized and does an amazing job at taking care of your dog and keeping you updated on how your dog is doing. She treats your dog like it is her own.

Elvis just loves Maureen! Animals can tell! He is always so excited when he sees her.  He has stayed twice now, for about 10 days each time, and Maureen has taken excellent care of him.  Maureen is passionate, loving and caring with all of the dogs that she boards. 

I definitely recommend Maureen's dog boarding, you won't have anything to worry about... and it's really nice to get update photos of your dog having fun, while you're away!

I have Maureen look after my dog Harley almost every time I go away on vacation. I like her so much I recommend her services to my friends and at least two have left their dogs in her care. We had the opportunity to have our fur baby Rio stay with Maureen for our 6 days away. Maureen came recommended by my friend and I have to say we were very happy with the care he received. Our experience with Maureen Dogboarding was great beyond compare. We have a seven years old Maltepoo, Bubu, and were looking for somebody to take care of him while we've been on vacation. At our meet and greet Maureen had us fill out paperwork with lots of details about our Bubu including food, habits, schedules, and favorite activities. We also gave vet info. While we were gone she emailed us daily with photos of Bubu that made us feel very secure. She took our dog for walks, played with him and feed him. When we got home, Bubu got a Certificate of Good behaviour that melts our hearts. Such an amazing idea!!!

We wholeheartedly recommend Maureen as a pet sitter and will tell everyone about our experience because it is so hard to find someone that we can really trust to care for our pet like she did.  Maureen, words are not enough to thank you.

Maureen was recommended by another dog sitter who had some time conflict, but I couldn’t be happier with the recommendation. I had my two dogs a 2 year old Maltipoo and a 5 month old dachshund with her for a week during my vacation and she took great care of them. She also sent me constant updates with their daily activities via emails while I was away which was great. Would definitely go back to Maureen again if I need someone to dog sit.

"We had our 7 1/2 month old puppy in Maureen's care for a week, while we were outside the country for our vacation. She is a very caring and dedicated lady, with a great love for dogs, and a lot of patience. I've had the opportunity of having Gremmy looked after by Maureen a few times now and they've all been so pleasant. Usually Gremmy has another friendly dog to play with and when the weather permits she is taken on nice walks to the dog park. If I have any questions or concerns while I'm away Maureen is very fast to respond to my e-mails about Gremmy's well being. Maureen also frequently sends photos to let you know that your fur-baby is doing great. I feel at ease leaving my pup with Maureen and that's priceless.

Maureen is an amazing doggy daycare provider and she is certainly worth her weight in gold!  She took care of my 3 year old Wheaten Terrier, Oliver, for a week and he enjoyed his time so much with Maureen that he didn't want to come home!  She knows all the tricks to get him to eat his food and she made sure that he had lots of exercise, love, and treats... of course.  She is such a kind and caring person and it shows when you see how she looks after the dogs in her care.  She sent me daily updates and photos to let me know how Oliver was doing and even awarded him a "certificate for good behavior" at the end of his week with her.  She really goes above and beyond! Maureen is also extremely flexible and very affordable too.  She's a gem and I'm so glad I found her.  Oliver will definitely be back!   Bryanna E.

We recently adopted a 5 year old Hava-Poo. He is very skittish and his previous owner told us that he reacted badly when he was taken to daycare.  I knew Maureen did dog boarding. I’ve also known Maureen personally for years and I trust her implicitly. So when we needed to go out I asked Maureen to look after Kiko. I could tell he was very shy at first and he wasn’t sure of the other dog in Maureen’s care but Maureen quickly had the situation in hand and now Kiko seems happy to stay with Maureen and to have dog friends to play with. She is very kind to the dogs who stay with her and they certainly don’t lack in attention when in her care. I can definitely recommend Maureen for your dog.

Maureen looked after Ozie while our family went to Mexico. Ozie was only eight months old, needed to do his thing three to four times per day, was never away from us since we got him. I was a little worried that Ozie might have accidents, felt upset for being with someone he did not know. I did not expect Maureen took Ozie out four times per day, allowed Ozie to jump on the couch, and gave Ozie things to chew on, and of course a lot of patients and hugs. While I was in Mexico, I received emails and pictures of Ozie almost every day. My holiday was relax because I knew Ozie was in good hands. I will definitely let Maureen take care of  Ozie again when needed.

       I found Maureen's dog boarding service through referral. My one year old Corgi Kiki has gone to Maureen's every thursday for almost two months, thanks to Maureen I can have the peace of mind knowing Kiki is in good hands when I have to be out late. Maureen took care of Kiki as instructed, and made sure to give her walks and took her to the park whenever possible. Kiki always comes home happy and tired.

     Maureen even gave us a little "graduation" certificate when our daycare term was over which was very sweet. Overall I am very happy with Maureen's services and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Robby & Ria (Nov.29 - Dec.4): December 11/16

     During our wedding week, my then fiancè left his 3 year old dog Dez (100 lbs pitbull/mastiff) with Maureen for 4 nights as we were getting married out of town. He said he liked how she was keeping him up-to-date with pictures and emails of how Dez was doing while we were out of town.

      A few months later we bought a new puppy Loco (4 lb Chihuahua/Pug) and also had my 13 year old dog dipsy (12 lb Pomeranian) that we decided to leave with Maureen as we went to Hawaii.

      At first I was a bit hesitant to leave my 2 dogs with a complete stranger but my husband assured me they were in great hands.

     Long story short I liked Maureen's professionalism with documenting everything (which vet they go to, along with their numbers and an emergency contact)

      I really appreciated how she emailed me with updates and photos of each dog and how they're doing. 

      Overall I would recommend Maureen to all who have to part from their dogs.

      From a 100 lb pitbull mix to a 4 lb chihuahua mix, Maureen can take care of  all dogs.

Josie (October 2016): I looked carefully to find a caring dog lover before my husband and I left for our vacation recently.  When I chatted and visited with Maureen, I knew right away that she was very fond of animals. She met Sophie a few times prior to her stay there and requested thorough notes for her time with her. Our dog, Sophie, is diabetic with a heart condition and Maureen willingly accepted to care for her and provide the additional support she needed with medications, injections and a special diet. Even when Sophie took ill, Maureen did her very best to support her and subsequently initiated a visit to our vet to obtain medical attention for Sophie. We are truly grateful to Maureen for her care and genuine concern for our dear pet, Sophie, and would recommend her services to others.

We had our little Mini poodle, Marvin stay with Maureen for 9 days while we went away for a much needed break.  He had an eye infection at the time and Maureen was very good about putting ointment in his bad eye twice a day.  Marvin also was able to meet some new friends during his stay. 

       We missed him a lot but I feel he was in good hands with Maureen and I wouldn't hesitate to leave him with her in future. He's 16 years old so we're very particular about who we leave him with. Maureen's a very kind and gentle person and it's very evident that all the dog's are very comfortable and at ease in her company.

It was the first time I’d had to hire a dog sitter for Hannah, so I was nervous. But as soon as I met Maureen and saw how kind, organized and experienced she was, I felt a lot better. When I dropped Hannah off there were two other dogs in her care, and I was impressed with how she got everyone comfortable with one another and managed the different personalities. I didn’t worry at all about Hannah while I was gone, especially since Maureen emailed photos and updates. When I picked her up, Hannah was calm - usually she is jumping all over and desperate to leave with me. To me, that’s a sign that she enjoyed her time there. I would recommend Maureen to anyone and will 100% call her next time I go away without Hannah!

Let me start this by saying I have never left Pepper alone for any length of time with anyone other than my immediate family, so leaving her with someone for two weeks was a huge cause of anxiety for me, but then I met Maureen and saw where she would be staying. That eased every fear that tried to infiltrate my mind. Maureen is as kind and compassionate of a person that anyone could ever wish to meet. Pepper is a little bit of a princess who gets spoiled and Maureen was more than happy to accommodate her strange little eccentricities. The fact that Maureen could recognize them so quickly proved to me what an attentive care giver that she is for all of the dogs she cares for. In fact, while I was on my holiday, I started to worry with every email I received with updates of their days together that Pepper wouldn't want to come home because of the great time she was having in Maureen's care. I have recommended her to anyone that has mentioned thinking they may need a sitter and I wouldn't hesitate to call on her to take care of my fur-baby whenever the need next arises.

Maureen's care for my two year Pomeranian Chihuahua mix, Mochi, was nothing short of awesome. I left Mochi with Maureen for a week during February 2016. It was only her second time away from me for an extended period of time so I wanted to make sure she would be in a home-like environment. From the initial meet and greet I could tell Maureen has a deep love for dogs and made me feel completely at ease with her extremely thorough process. Maureen even provides email updates with pictures of what adventures your pup is having while you are away. I will definitely be using her services again and could not recommend her enough..

We would like to take the time to say a big thank you to Maureen for taking care of our beloved puppy Kenny. Maureen took care of Kenny for over 3 weeks while we were away for Christmas 2015. Being away for an extended period of time, we thought carefully of the type of care we wanted for Kenny and were luckily recommended to Maureen through a friend. Maureen's attention to detail and care for his wellbeing was clear from the first time we met her. We had a meet & greet session with Kenny and Kenny immediately clicked with Maureen. After that first meetup and her keen interest in finding out about any special requirements Kenny had before his stay, we felt confident that Maureen would do a great job in giving Kenny a nice home away from home. While we were away, Maureen updated us regularly and sent us photos - it was great to see him having a good time with other dogs and to have an insight into his adventures. When we collected Kenny, Maureen gave us a final update on how he'd been and it was clear that Kenny enjoyed his time with Maureen. Since then, Maureen has still stayed in touch and asked about Kenny - which showed us again how much she cares about the dogs she looks after. We can't say enough good things about Maureen and her care for Kenny. We are so happy that we have met Maureen and that we know that if we need to leave Kenny again, he has somewhere to stay where he will be looked after well. Maureen is amazing and caring, she looked after Muffy four times. She ensures our boy was comfortable and happy while we were away. Taking him for a long walk, socializing with other dogs in the park. Sent us his pictures and kept in touch by email and informed how he was doing. Muffy has specific treats and medication to be given, when we gave Maureen instruction, she just doesn't listen but she writes it down too, making sure that she gets instruction correctly.  I feel at ease when he's with Maureen because I'm sure my lovely dog is in good hands. I highly recommend Maureen to look after your dogs, you can be sure that your dog will have a great time too like you do on your vacation. I am so glad we found Maureen. The care that Maureen gives my 2 little dogs is just amazing.  She is so calm and relaxed and my girls just love going to her home. I never worry about them when they are in her care. My dogs used to be afraid of other dogs.  Since going to Maureen's they have gotten used to being around other pups and I truly think that Maureen is a dog whisperer.

     My dogs are no longer afraid of interacting with other dogs because they are cared for in a very calm, caring and relaxed environment. She keeps me updated by email and pictures when she has my girls. Before myself and my family went on a 3 week vacation we needed to find a reliable and loving person that would take care of our dog, Sophie.  Maureen came recommended by one of my clients. Even before meeting Maureen, we got a really good impression about her. We corresponded via email and she was extremely professional, promptly answering all of our questions. 

     At the Meet -n-Greet Maureen was very friendly and we knew that Sophie will be in really good hands with her.  During our vacation, Maureen updated us often with facts about Sophie and with pictures. We felt completely at ease, seeing the love she had for Sophie and knowing that our little dog was happy and getting so much attention from Maureen. When we picked Sophie up, Maureen handed us a Certificate of good behaviour for Sophie.      Max, our 3 year old schnoodle spent 8 nights at Maureen and he definitely enjoyed his stay with her. From the beginning, the experience we had with Maureen was great as she is very warm, friendly, dog loving person. The whole process with the booking, Meet and Greet, payment and Max's stay was very well organized, and went smoothly. Having three email updates from Maureen while we were away, on Max's experience with pictures of him was the cherry on top of the cake! We were in town for our daughter's wedding. We had to leave home earlier than planned so cancelled our plans to kennel Gus and brought him with us. Finding Gus a place for the weekend of the wedding was priority; we searched kennels in the area but none fit. We are retired and Gus is used to being with a someone day and night!  This  business sounded like a good fit AND choosing Maureen ended up being a godsend! Maureen kindly accommodated our short time frame. She was organized, thorough, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Her emails and updates were great. The true review was evident in Gus. His reaction to our picking him up (could he speak) was...."You're here? I have to leave already". Maureen was wonderful and we highly recommend her services.

This was our third time asking Maureen to watch our dog Jasper, and, as always, she was an absolute delight to work with and took exceptional care of him. We were gone for about 2 1/2 weeks and received regular email updates, photos, and videos which we loved receiving from an ocean away. This was Jasper's first time staying at Maureen's place along with other dogs and she kindly kept us updated on how the social interactions were going and asked questions as needed. Maureen always keeps a lovingly keen eye on the animals in her care and let us know when she was concerned about Jasper's health so we could participate in the decision-making regarding taking him to the vet. Maureen is so patient and caring toward the dogs and makes sure to get them lots of exercise and fresh air each day. She is always able to calmly handle any situation that arises and is very accommodating. She really is a gem and we are thankful to have connected with her. I would have no reservations about highly recommending Maureen!

Our dog Jasper's second stay with Maureen was as delightful as the first! We are so thankful for her patience, caring attitude, and flexibility. Jasper had a wonderful time and enjoyed all of the lovely fresh air Maureen made sure to give him at the dog park and out on walks. We are so thankful that Jasper has such a great home-away-from-home when we are out of town!

Our dog Jasper had a wonderful stay with Maureen and Trooper. Maureen is such a gem - from her first phone call to make meet and greet arrangements through to pick-up, she was a delight to work with. I had no reservations at all about leaving my dog in her capable hands. Jasper returned to us happy and refreshed from a few days of new friends, new surroundings, and fun new activities. Maureen's attention to detail in giving directions, making arrangements, sending quotes, collecting information, etc were second to none. I would be thrilled to have her host Jasper again and have already recommended her to a friend.

I would highly recommend Maureen.  When I first contacted Maureen to set up a meeting time she was very prompt in getting back to me. When she called me she was very pleasant and professional. This helped put my mind at ease since this was the first time our whippet was cared for by someone else. Maureen was very nurturing and patient with Percy and he felt at ease when he was with her. While we were away, Maureen immediately responded to all our emails and sent us daily pictures of Percy at the dog park. He seemed very happy. March 2014: This is the 2nd time that Maureen has watched over Lily. Maureen always makes us feel welcome and she reassured us that Lily would be fine. She gave us clear details about the other visiting dogs that would be "inn" during Lily's stay. She knows her guests well and Maureen always makes sure that the dogs will be able to live together and are of similar temperament. Maureen exercised Lily daily, and she had many friends to play with at a nearby dog park. Upon picking up Lily, I could tell that she wasn't stressed, but had a good time. I received a number of photos with updates thru emails. Lily will certainly be back. Thank you.

March 2013: I never tried an At-Home dog sitter before. I was happy to have found Maureen because my dog doesn't do well in a standard kennel. Maureen is genuine, gentle and a calm person. It shows that she loves and cares about dogs. My dog Lily was obviously happy and stress free when I picked her up. Maureen sent us a number of photos and emails during Lily's stay. My dog was well exercised as there are numerous parks in the area and a dog off leash park as well. Maureen's home was clean and dog friendly. I'm very pleased with Maureen and I won't hesitate when we need Lily to have a home away from home.

Maureen is a lovely lady! We don't know how she does it. She REALLY must love dogs! Our little one, at just seven months, was the youngest dog she had apparently cared for. We are positive that he could not have been as angelic as she reported as he is just beginning to learn his socializing skills and is still a bit nervous about new things, thus Maureen gave up a spot at night on her personal bed so he could be comforted. He has arrived home looking none the worse for wear and we do appreciate her kindness and thoughtfulness. Giving up part of your bed is really above the call of a babysitter's duty! We loved Maureen's reports and photographs as we missed our little one and were so happy that we could view him on the emails that she sent us. Thank you Maureen for the photos and, especially, his good behaviour award. Not totally sure it could have been true, but, if not, we do appreciate the tiny fib. Thank you for his good care!

She is always excited when she knows she is going to visit her and other dogs.  Asha has many special needs and Maureen has always been able to deal with the diet and medical requirements.    Sometime she is there for the day as I work, or for many days if I am holiday. I am happy to leave Asha with Maureen as I know she is well taken care. Gwendolyn and Asha

When we leave Polo or when we come to pick him up, he is a contented dog. In view of Polo's physical changes as he ages, Maureen copes with him very well.  Maureen always keeps us informed while we are away, of his activities and status....he eats well, gets good exercise.  we are VERY satisfied with the care Maureen provides.  We have no worries while he is in her care and will continue to use and recommend her service.

We have been using Maureen as our "dog sitter" for a number of years now. I have to say I have met very few people that love dogs as much as she does, she truly is a good soul. Our Dog Bailie has even changed when he comes back from staying with Maureen (we average a week at a times 2-3 times a year minimum) to the degree that one would think he was in puppy training.

     We have no intention of finding someone else, I recommend Maureen to anyone that is particular about their pets as they would be with children. Thanks Maureen

Maureen is very professional and caring. She loves dogs and they her. Minnie had a great time and she certainly will visit Maureen again. It was the first time ever that I left Minnie with someone. I was anxious at first but after meeting Maureen and seeing the pictures Maureen send of Minnie I was thrilled.....I have reserved again.
